A day in Paris

It's not everyday you have the chance to meet the Director or your favorite show and when you can do it, you don't think and just go !! My meeting with Norberto Barba Executive Producer & Director on Grimm was really interesting . One of the best moment in my life ... He is such a nice , adorable and funny personn...

5.00 pm , in a little french coffee pub, me and my friend Tania an other Grimmster true fan are waiitng Norberto, we were very anxious, very nervous, then Norberto show up in the street , Black shirt, sun glasses ... It was him . Our heart stopped to beat for a while, It was the moment, It was here, It was real . Norberto join us at the table, Introduce himself with the smile . He thanks us and french grimmsters for to support the show in France , He thanks me for the work I do with Grimm France . He was surprised to see Grimm France Twitter have 1137 followers , I showed him with my phone .

Norberto began first he leaded the chat and it was great cause me and Tania were pretty shy at the beginning , He talked about Grimm fanbase in Europe ,and in the world , the support of all fans around the world . He loves the fans for sure . Tania asked him if Some crew members was French, then we talked about Christian Lagadec , our frenchy spy, We told him we were pretty sad to see him get shot . Norberto replied to me with a little smile ;

- Did you see him dead ? Did you see a body ?

then I replied : No , in fact no ...

He talked about the day he said to Christian , They' re going to kill "Sebastian" , Christian knew, one day Sebastian will be kill.

Norberto :

- I think he is really dead ! But we never know with Grimm, It's the same with Eric Renard, Did you see a Body ?? He tease us " Maybe it was Christian in the car during explosion " We laughed .

- No I think we never saw Eric Renard again , he is dead ! .

I asked to Norberto about his other Show" Law and Order SVU" , Since when he worked on it ? He told me, he worked before on L&A criminal intent cause one of his close friend work on it as well, and Norberto join him, Then Norberto was invited to join L&A SVU eight years ago and he usually direct the season final of SVU .

It lead to our next question, What's director do ?

Norberto : Executive producer have an eye on the whole show, about everything but they don't direct the cast or episode , It's the director who did this , The director Hire crew members, Hire cast , He choose a lot , make up, costum, he read the script and can change thing if he wants, he choose how the scene is going to be shot, with which camera , where. How many camera . He is like a leader for to keep things in a good track . He explained us he direct only three episodes per season except season 3 because he prefers not to direct the whole show, he prefers to direct the season final each season, the first episode of the season and an episode in the middle, he love to work on big episode , where things are completely out of control, He worked on episodes which change the story line, big events etc ... He loved to work on episode aswang .

Norberto asked us a paper and begin to draw how he worked with script and camera. He explain us how he would shot me and Tania in this street of Paris , with Traveling camera and two camera on the side . For more explanation, he draw us the Aswang bed scene when Wu'ex read in Bed and aswang show up at the windows, he explained us all the camera, all the way, The camera who go back, the camera who come from to show the aswang tongue , it was really interesting for me, this part cause I really would love to do that . Norberto explained us as well, sometimes he would love to shot the scene in a certain way with Camera but he can't cause not really time or not really place so when he want to show things turn around actors or something , and he can't he just find an excuse in the script for to make move the actors, go to read a book, go to pick up the phone, in fact we believe it' s the camera which is moving but not it's the actors . Norberto imagine all the scene in his head and write it on the script before to work on it .

So we began to talk about cinematograohy and asked him if he like " Hannibal " show . He explained me Grimm and Hannibal are little related ( If you never see the tweet between NBC Hannibal and NBC grimm you should ) He said the actor who played Dr Chilton was a real friend to him Raul Esperza . I said to Norberto I love the cinematography of the show and he replied It's pretty great cinematography .

Norberto Teased us during interview with season 4 , We don't see or read anything but Norberto said what do you think for Renard ? Does Nick is going to be grimm or not , as you grimmsters , he said anything and let us with our questions, we have to wait . I say Him "I hate the FBI agent " and he laughed .

We continue the meeting with Trubel, we told him we really like the character and Jacqueline acting, I just love his reaction .

- Awww really? With a big smile . He said us his first choice was the actrese of The Killing's show, before Jim find Jacqueline, and then you know the story , Jacqueline come and the rest It's the story :)

We said to Norberto we find during the end of season David was left behind and Trubel was the leader . Norberto explained us he wanted to show How could be Nick's life with out his power, he wanted to explore Nick with out his power, How he 's going to see the world now , How it's to be blind and not to see wesen anymore . Trubel is his guide now and they're going to explore this side of the show . Norberto ask us

- What do you think, could change everything and Nick just would to become Grimm again ???

- We thought a lot and Norberto let us think . .

This question lead me to Damien Puckler and Meisner, as you know for some of you I created a fun and crazy twitter call @meisner_army where you can spread your love for Damien. I update it as well with his news and photos , Damien take the control of the twitter sometimes . as the Captain of his army, I have to introduce our leader . :P

Norberto revealed us at the beginning, he was not sure for Damien , but he was so wrong , Norberto said me Damien is not only a super fighter , he is a really talented actor and he is happy to see people begin to talk about him, we talked about Damien LA Timesinterview . I say him I was happy to see Meisner back on track . Norberto revealed little funny things about Damien and Giving birth scene, It was funny to see him do that cause we see him as a fighter first and Damien saying "Push" and do the fake giving bith was pretty great behind the camera , Who can imagine a big warrior like him do that ?

The baby lead us to the question Royals/ Resistance and the balance with The fairy tale story line .

Norberto explained us he felt something different during episode 1x13 , Grimm will not only related about Fairy tales but with a plot of The Royals and Seven families . They decided to expand stories with international mythology during seasons and Introduce Resistance and Royal's fight on the middle of the wesen of the week, It's really interesting to see How wesen and human can interact and where Resistance / Royals and Wesen of the week will leads .

I say him " Yeah but no french fairy tale ! "

He replied " We work on it " so sound french story finally that's great .

He reveals we could have some guest star during season 4 as they did last year and for season 2 , they like to work with Portland guest and world guest as well .

Some keys could come during season 4 as well .

Norberto show us many many photos of the cast, on the set, during they have fun together and you can see how much they are all family .

This is a summary of my meeting with Norberto, may be I forgot some things but My mind keep important things. Thanks to him for his time , he is really adorable .
